A Letter from the President

Hello!

My name is Morgan Drury and I am the Chapter President for the year of 2019! I joined my chapter in the Fall of 2016. When I was going through formal recruitment at Missouri State University I had no idea what I was truly going to get out of a sorority. When I spoke to Gamma Phi Beta women I knew that they had something that I wanted. I knew that they were driven to achieve their goals. I knew that they were women of good character that wanted to get to know me for me. I knew they cared about one another. Most importantly, I knew that they were strong women.

In high school I struggled to speak up for myself and to share my own opinions, because I didn’t want to stand out too much from the norm. Once I came to college I knew that I wanted to find myself, find my opinions, and be supported by other women that wanted to do the same. After I joining, I dove straight into to my chapter with my whole heart. I have become driven to achieve my goals. I have met women that have molded me into the best person and leader that I can be. I have been surrounded with women that are true and constant friends to me every single day. Most importantly, I have become a stronger woman.

Gamma Phi Beta has given me so many things that I can’t even put into words. I love the Delta Nu chapter of Gamma Phi Beta because it is the kind of sisterhood that is real. These are the women I can laugh with till I cry, I can sit with when I’m sad, and I can count on to cheer me on no matter what. If I could give any woman wanting to join a sorority one piece of advice, it would be to find a sisterhood that will help to make you who you want to be. Joining a sorority is more than your four years at college, it is something that is part of you for the rest of your life. I am so glad that Gamma Phi Beta is a part of my life, and I hope you find the perfect chapter that will become a part of your life.

Thank you for taking time to explore our website and learns what it means to be a Gamma Phi Beta. I hope this website helps you learn more about our sisterhood and values, and what makes our chapter so authentic.

Best,

Morgan Drury
